Suzuki Spacia 2016

The Spacia is for people who like a small car but want more air around them. The roof is high, the seating is upright and the windows give the cabin an open feel. If you find low little hatchbacks cramped, this one is worth a look.

The rear sliding doors are useful in everyday holiday situations: getting bags in beside another parked car, or climbing back in after a stop without swinging a wide door into the next space.

It is a useful option for a couple travelling around the island, particularly when headroom is a priority. The cabin is tall rather than wide, so tall passengers should still check their own seating position and legroom.

Plan your cases with the seats in the position you will use on the road. More height inside does not make the boot unlimited, and a small engine is happiest when the journey is not rushed.

The silver CBB 1337 has sliding rear doors, a tall cabin, a central audio screen and separate climate controls. The open-door photographs show the actual front and rear seats and how you enter the car.

It has automatic transmission and air conditioning. The seat photographs are more useful than a generic brochure when deciding how this particular Spacia will suit you.

The photographs show the car as photographed. Review its current exterior and cabin with us at handover, and record any existing marks before the trip.

At collection, try the sliding doors and ask which functions are powered on this car. Check seat adjustments, the luggage arrangement and the audio connection before leaving.
